Marbles on Stream FAQ

How it works 

Starting with Season 35 on June 29th, Streamers share their unique creator code with their audience on Twitch.

Players visit captain.tv/marbles and enter a creator code to purchase Marble coins. Streamers will earn part of the revenue for each completed purchase based on their Marbles on Stream Lifetime XP!

Marbles on Stream Lifetime Season XP Requirements:

• 5k Lifetime Season XP - 10% code
• 250k Lifetime Season XP - 20% code
• 1M Lifetime Season XP - 30% code

Starting on June 29th, you’ll be able to use the Captain.tv Hub to check your Lifetime XP and eligibility.

Who’s eligible?

Any streamer with the required amount of Marbles on Stream Lifetime XP for each tier is eligible. Captain.tv Affiliates and Partners will be automatically placed into the program at launch time. Check your eligibility and progress in the Captain Hub.  Revenue share eligibility requires good standing with Pixel by Pixel and Captain.tv per their community guidelines and ToS.

How much can I earn?

The percentage you receive from each purchase is based on either your Marbles on Stream lifetime XP or your Captain.tv partner program status.  Reaching the above Marbles on Stream Lifetime Season XP Requirements grants 10%, 20%, or 30% revenue share on purchases made with your creator code (after taxes and payment fees).  If they do not already meet lifetime XP requirements for a higher revenue share tier, Captain.tv Affiliates will earn 10% and Captain.tv Partners will earn 20% of purchases (after taxes and payment fees) at the start of Season 35 on June 29th. 

How do I become a Captain.tv Affiliate or Partner?

Become an affiliate by playing Captain.tv games with your community in the Captain Hub, and reaching milestones for CCV viewership, playtime, and participation.  Learn more in the Captain.tv discord.

How do I get started?

Download the Captain.tv Hub.  Once Season 35 is live, you’ll be able to access the Marbles on Stream tools page and get access to your Lifetime XP, partnership status, and Creator Code if eligible.  You can then use the provided overlay and creator code info to share the link with your community to make purchases.

How do viewers buy things to support me and how do they use their purchases?

Viewers can go to captain.tv/marbles and enter your creator code to make purchases that support you.  They can buy Marble Coins from that page that can be used in the Mobile Apps or Desktop App for Marbles on Stream to purchase skins and other cosmetic items.

How do I receive payments?

Download the Captain.tv Hub to get set up with your account and provide payment information.  We’ll reach out to you via email to get you set up and process payments within 30 days after the end of each calendar month for an account with over $50 in earnings.
